Can a government job be denied on acquitted case

Can cases like 392 382 charged against a person in the past will be a reason for his candidature to be disapproved.

If the criminal case is pending, then the candidature will be rejected in case of government employment.
However if the case is quashed or if the person is acquitted then the person is free to seek employment in government jobs and past cases will not be a barrier in seeking government employment.
