Want To File Case In Consumer Court

11-Jan-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I want to file a case in consumer court against a vendor of mine for delivering wrong items, for my house which is under construction. I do not have any invoice for this as the builder of my house was dealing with this vendors. But I do have an agreement with me which proves that the builder is responsible for these items. Also I have WhatsApp chats and call recordings with the vendor, in which I provided sign off for the items I purchased. Do I stand a chance in Consumer court?

Hi, You should initiate a legal action against the builder with whom you have entered into an agreement. And as per the agreement as mentioned builder is responsible for the items. You may contact us with better particulars

the way forward will depend on the amount of pending dues. You will be considered a creditor in terms of IBC, the first step will be sending a legal notice here what all documents do you have ? what are the terms mentioned in the agreement? all these aspects will have to be considered before going forward

If you have a written Agreement that clearly speaks about the obligation of the Builder regarding quality of the items, and, it clearly reflects the liability of the Builder for wrong items then you will have a good chance to sue the Builder.
