08-Oct-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I am a garment dealer. I sold a branded jacket which detoriated after use.i had not sold that in any guarantee which is clearly mentioned on the bill. but customer goes to the court . Unfortunately however notices are not served to both of us (me & company).court gives the case in favour of consumer considering us exparte.now I will fight the case in higher court.but he is advertising this judgement in newspapers and WhatsApp groups of the city which is hurting my goodwill in the city. Hello sir,
First of all i want to clear that there is no rule of stopping him for giving the Judgment in the newspapers, the thing which you can do is approach State Commission against the said order and you can approach High Court for the stay in advertising in the newspaper

Dear questioner, you can go to the higher court which is state commission of consumer forum. And this is the only way to prove yourself right.
Right now you are not in a position to prove your case. However, if state commission gives you some relief, you may file a suit for damages. Damage that has caused to your goodwill. Until you have to wait.
