How can I cancel the registration If so will I get any compensation?

21-Dec-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

Registered a flat in March 2015, with a verbal agreement that the construction will be completed by June 2015. However, in the agreement it was stated as March 2016, when I asked during the registration they said "it's just procedure, don't worry, it will be done by June 2015. Since, we were at the registrar's office already, I went with it. That's my big mistake. The project is still under construction, not sure when it will get done. I have been paying full EMI till date. Can I cancel the registration? If so, will I get any compensation? Please advise.

If you want to cancel the booking, you can cancel it, but builders may or may not deduct some amount.
If want to wait up to march 2016, you can. After march 2016 if the builder failed to hand over the possession of the constructed building you can file a consumer case against him for the compensation and refund of EMI already paid with interest.

Dear Sir/Madam, as per agreement you have to wait till March 2016... there is no value for oral things.... the court will ask witness and documents only. If you want to cancel your flat, you will do it as per terms an conditions of the agreement which are executed in between you and your builder. You have every right to cancel the flat any time as per sale agreement and taken back your amount which you are paid to them.... if you want my legal service in this regard. I will do it.
