Facing issues with Software service provider

16-Jan-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I am dealing with a software service provider. I got in a contract with them to get a product made in 2019. Due to their inefficiency and loose work ethics, it has been more than 1.5 years and it’s still in progress. I am trying to reach out to them but they haven’t been responding to my e-mails. What is the course of action for me here to speed up the process?

Hi,
After going through the contents of your query it prima facie seems to be a case of deficiency in services and unfair trade practice being adopted by the service provider. Would advise you to get a strongly worded legal notice issued to them

As per the limited knowledge sent by you, I can advise to go before consumer Court. We can send a legal notice prior to consumer case. Moreover, it depends what was the total amount you paid for the said service as to which consumer court it will be filed.

Send them a legal notice first. If they don’t comply, file a consumer complaint before the appropriate forum.

Notice would work as a warning letter from your side.
Do consider sending that first. However, you can approach the forum as well.
