We can file a recovery suit in this matter but prior to that a recovery notice must be required to send opposite parties and simultaneously we can file a consumer complaint under the consumer protection act

First of all rather than going legally you should serve them a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either pay my money or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a recovery suit in the court to claim your money back along with compensations.

We suggest You to get a legal notice issued through some good lawyer and seek refund and compensation from the airline company.

You can further file a complaint With the consumer commision for seeking refund and compensation.

Airlines do such things. Firstly you purchase ticket subsequently they ask you at the airport to pay and book for the seat as well. You may have money or may not have money in your account is a different thing which is out of question. Pertinent question is once you have purchased ticket, why do you have to pay extra for the seats. This amounts to malpractice in business and for which the airlines is not only responsible to refund the amount of money for the flight ticket but also the loses which accrue due to missing or denying to board the said flight. In a recent consumer court matter, a Judge was denied to board flight to Frankfurt, and he reached late due to jet lag could not get proper rest, and could not enjoy trekking. He asked for 10 lakhs got 7 lakhs compensation.
