Consumer case - Legal option for order execution

Hi, I got the final order from State commission Delhi in March 2020 which was uploaded on website in June 2020. In July 2020, new consumer law is passed. Can you please confirm where Execution petition should be filed i.e. District or State consumer forum? My amount is 16L which court ordered to refund with 12% interest. Also, if any good local lawyer can be suggested with tentative fee pls..
Hi. The court where the execution can be filed depends on where the original complaint has been filed i.e. District Consumer Court or State Consumer Court. I practice in Consumer courts so please call for further discussions.

Order is executed by the court that has passed it.
Since your order was passed by Hon'ble State Commission Delhi hence you have to file the execution petition before that Commission only.

hello client as you said tht you have already got the order in iune 2020 it got allready uploaded on the website of the state commission of delhi bas you are saying tht you have been given the order to refund the amount of 16 L along with the interest if the 12 % as per order . but in july 2020 new law came into force so yr worried . in your matter no need to worry we are tgere to help you. as per order you will get your money after execution as per law only and order is from state commission so from there only executuion will be done.
