College not giving refund even though canceled the admission in 5 days

I take admission in Gujarati college on 8aug17 which is the last date of first round admission and I cancelled my admission on 13aug17 but college not refund my deposit fees. Can you help for fees refund from college.

Yes i can help you with this query, but for helping you further i will be needing your admission letter, fee deposit reciepts, etc. Which you have received from the college. Arrange all the documents and get back to me asap as we are ready about to lapse the time for filing consumer complaint.

You Should Give Legal Notice to Gujarati college & wait for 15days for Response of the College.Where is this college situated ?,The district consumer forum will be entertain aftern giving Legal Notice in proper way.

According to UGC guidelines a college can not retain the fees and original documents of a student who withdraw "before the starting of session". The college can only deduct process fees of not more than Rs. 1000/-. As you said you took admission in August and generally the session is considered to start in July, but if there was another round of admission after you withdrawal then you can still demand refund of the fees. Has the college returned your original documents? You should take action against the college only after you get all of your original documents from the college. Once you get the documents complain about the matter to the University, if matter is not resolved then forward the complaint to the UGC. If the problem is still not resolved then you should file a writ before Hon'ble High Court.
