yes, the consumer forum will direct the manufacturer to pay damages and in most cases, forum also will direct them to replace the vehicle, depends on after the appraisal of the evidence.

Please file a consumer case.

Hi there,
Whether the bike is a new one can be assured only by its chasis number bcz when a vehicle is registered its chasis numbers will b there on papers. If u belive that they have cheated you, we can move before the forum. But we need to bring before the court strong evidence. A normal mechanics words wont suffice that. And u can make a complaint to the ho da company directly saying that their dealors are in mal practice.

before the consumer forum you can ask for a new bike. if you are able to prove your case definitely the consumer forum will grant your prayer. Please note that if your allegations are true you can resort to file criminal case against the dealer for cheating you . You can very well approach Motor Vehicle Department also with your complaint
