Can I filed a case in consumer court if it is pending in another court
28-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Hi, Can I file a case in consumer court if another case is pending in Lok Adalat for last 2 years without any progress? Thanks
There is a certain limitation of 2 years for filing a consumer case. And the case needs to be strong to sustain in consumer court because it is already pending before the lok adalat which could be an issue before consumer court

I am sorry but you can't do it. You can withdraw the case and then file it. Lok adalat is a forum where people go to settle issues. If you think that there is no use you can withdraw your case.

No, if a matter is pending in a competent court then it cannot be transferred to any other court which does not has the competency.A suit can only be committed to 1 court unless there is a jurisdictional dispute.
