Process to withdraw FIR..........

I am a hindu girl.. I was in a relationship . He promised to marry me but secretly got married in bihar to another girl on 1 st aug, 2018..i regisrerd an fir here.. But now i want to withdraw the fir?

if he got married and you still want to sue your ex you can but the fact is that do you really want to do so because after filling the case against him it is still not worth it. but as you said you want to withdraw the FIR, Anytime before chargesheet is filed you can withdraw complaint by writing a letter to the police Station head, where FIR is lodged. If the police refuse to withdraw complaint, you can ask accused to move to get complaint quashed and give evidence to judge and they will withdraw your complaint.

As per procedure first of all you can approach before the concerned police station for withdraw your fir if the case is not registered the police is bound to withdraw your case, and if the case is registered as a cognizable or non cognizable offence then the case will be going to comprised before the court after serve the summon against the accused person and appear before the court.

You cannot withdraw the F.I.R. as such. If you have still not submitted your statement before the police you may give a statement under Section 161 Cr.P.C. before the police stating that you have lodged the F.I.R. due to misunderstanding that the boy cheated you but later on you found out that he had to marry another girl under compelling circumstances :)

Go to the police station where you filed the FIR and police officer may help you regarding this. Once FIR registered can't withdraw directly, its have procedure to withdraw, go there and asked the authority whether it can be withdraw at their authority, otherwise you have to go through the court...
