Hi
In general any court case in civil matters take about 4 years time because of high volume of work in lower courts and pending litigation courses.
It is true that your father is a senior citizen and it is causing harm to his health. You can try by filing an expedition petition claiming senior citizen status and attempt at fast tracking of case. Many a times courts will agree to expedite the case if it is convinced that your case merits fast track.
