The query is vague and the information furnished is incomplete. What do you mean by "seal paper"? Is it a road or is it a mere access or an easement? How long this facility have been in use Is there any consideration involved? No defoinite suggestion is possible unless the papers and seen and all the material facts ascertained.

The change of old way is good for you then you can do . But before set out the way you have to create an agreement and write in on government stamp paper if possible it be registered. All the details of previous way must be write clearly and the changes also mention clearly (width and length) . Also put a reliable person as attesting witness in that agreement

If the road and agreement are concerned with you and the neighbour alone, you both can cancel it and write whichever way you both agrees. But by your agreement you cannot curtail the rights of a third party, if any, who is also a beneficiary of such road.
