what are my rights as I live abroad my son is getting divorce can he file divorce from outside india
if your daughter-in law stayed abroad with your son, he can apply for divorce abroad. if you are owner of the no body can take away your rights, you can file a suit against him or you can also lodge a criminal complaint against them

You can file a divorce from outside India, you can give a power of attorney to any of your relative to prosecute the case on your behalf in India. However, in case you are filing a mutual consent divorce petition, there are two motions of divorce for which during the second motion you have to be present.
