How to confirm if sales deed is original and legal

My late mother never sold the land. I have all original papers of the land & me only son. But some body is claiming that my mother has sold land to him, he is showing sales deed & mutation, claiming paid only 1 lack for 1.2 acres. Now my mother died, how should I come to know the truth, what should I do.
First of all you know yourself that whether you are in peaceful possession over the land in dispute or nor if you are in possession then you may kept mum .
Secondly you may obtain certified copy of alleged sale deed of disputed land and verify the signature of your mother or to enquire through attesting witnesses who put their hands on alleged sale deed,.
Please scrutinized the matter through civil lawyer and as per his direction you have to take proper steps.

As u have all orginal papers of land which is in dispute ,it seems u r correct on ur side.U may file complain in respective anchal or block office regarding false mutation of the said land .U have to be with tax reciept ,deed copy,eyc

As per your query, you should take certified copy of sale deed which has been executed by your mother to some one else. Then after filed title suit for your share because mother have some limited share in that property . She cannot del your share. You can claim your share if prooerty. Feel free to call me
