Disposal of disputed property after decision of court in my favour

04-Dec-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am from Hindu family I have won a property case from lower court in Ludhiana Punjab district court and after winning the case I sold the property to some other person before plantiff appeal to session court. Please advise this is true. Further plaintiff approached police authorities and they are calling me. Should I go there or not. The case is under session court presently. Thanks

If the opposite party has a stay over the execution of the lower court order then you cannot sell the said property but if u have done it even though police authorities can't do anything . The opposite party can only file contempt of court . You should go to police without fear. May this police tactics played by opposite party just to pressurise you.

Go ahead and entertain the police authorities. Since, it seems you have not applied for the execution of decree in lower court, the sale of property is withheld and void until the appeal is decided. So first, face the appeal and then immediately file for an execution.
You may have acted in a haze in this matter, so explain it to the buyer of property as well. Otherwise, you'll have another suit coming in no time from him.
