Q: My husband and in laws are torturing me how to take legal action now

My husband lied to me before marriage about his salary and job. He wants my parents to purchase things for home, when I refused , he sent me back to my home with love and now he doesn't want me to come back. I compromised , adjusted but now I m so broken and dont know where to go! My father took a loan for this marriage and gave everything my in laws wanted Please advice

Mam u can file a divorce case on the grounds of concealments of fact and u can also file dowry and crulety case under section 406 498 IpC and can also claim maintence from your husband under section 125 crpc.

Q: Can divorce be filed on grounds of desertion if wife living seperately

M belong to sikh family .. i want divorce on desertion base coz we r living separate from 3 years my wife is not ready to give me divorce.she is greedy for money help me

Sir you can file divorce on the ground of cruelty and dissertion and can seek divorce from your wife and if she is greedy for money you need not give her any penny . You can file divorce under section 13 Hindu marriage act.

Q: Tried filing for divorce but husband threatening harm to me and family

Hi there, Me and my husband are not living together from one year after I got my permanent residency in Canada . Now he is trying to threaten me that he gonna harm me and my family which is still in India. I tried to file the divorce but he is not giving me his address where he is living right now. He follows me to the work and use abusive language whenever talks to me. I don't know what to do, how can i handle all this crap

Hello mam. You can file a complaint of harrasment against him if you residing in India currently and you can also file a divorce petition in the ground if cruelty in India in case you know the address of his parents residing in India.

Q: Wife went to get parents home now not willing to return back

Sir my wife went for 1 day program in her parents house but she will not come so I will call her where is she . as we have a nine months baby . but she did not pick the call . so I called his uncle to confirm and asked her to take care of baby she starts fighting with me and said she will not come ever and disconnect the call after that his uncle pick the call and said she will not come we did not went her back . I tried so many calls where is issue but her number is switched off I called her father several times but he did not respond the call. Her elder sister also concerned with a divorce case Plz suggest what should I do

Sir File a section 9 Hindhu marriage act case that is the restitution of conjugal rights in the court to bring her back. This is the only legal way you can file a case against her and bring her back from parental home.

Q: Procedure to get divorce from husband in case husband not ready

I am a wife and married for 5 years with one child. I am living separately for almost 2 years. I don't want to live with my husband . I've gone through a lot of physical and mental trauma caused by not only my husband but my entire in laws family. I want divorce but my husband and his family are not ready for mutual consent as they are axpecting dowry and want me to suffer my whole life like this. My husband told me that he will not give me divorce just because he want my family to cover expenses of settling abroad. What can I do? Is there any fast track option available to get divorce?
