There are two types of defamation: (1) Slander (2) Libel. In your case this is libel. Defamation law allows people to sue those who say or publish false and malicious comments. I explain it : Defendant will have to prove Truth (which is also called justification) is not simple. Being a plaintiff you have to prove truth what you say in your prayer in petition.To be liable for defamation, a statement must be false and must concern a verifiable fact.
