Builder demanding more money than agreement

30-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have bought a house in Jamnagar, Gujarat from a builder. We had made an agrrement regarding price of the property on stamp paper. Now the builder is demanding more money than the agreement claiming that he had made a mistake in the agreement regarding price. He has forcefully locked the house and will not allow us to enter the house until I pay extra money. The house is registered under my name. What shall I do in this situation.

You can file the complaint against the builder under RERA . You can file complaint to RERA authority at Gandhinagar. Builder cannot deny the possession of your house . RERA act will help you . Builder has to pay compensation for his conduct.
