07-Dec-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am a central govt employee. I want to know is it possible for me to start a bussiness while continuing my Job. And also is there any provision allows a family pensioner to start her own bussiness.

A government employee is not allowed to have a business. But they can start a business on their spouse name, or children's name and supervise the business.
And
there is no provision stops a family pensioner to start her own business.

You can start a business but its better to start a business in the name of your spouse or any other member of the family for the purpose of tax benefits same in case of family pensioner because if you have pension income as well as a business then your tax liability will be higher.Thanks.

Sir
A central government employee cannot do any business as per the Rules of service. You cannot do business in your own name. No family pensioner cannot do any business in his/her name. If does any business such case permission is required from the appropriate authority.
Thanks
