Q: How many days it will take for mutual divorce ?
How to Get a Divorce Easily? Can You Get a Mutual Divorce in 1 Week (Hindu Marriage)?
Advocate SK Shahrukh Raja answered
No, it is not possible to obtain a mutual divorce in one week. After filing the first petition and recording the statements of both parties, the court typically adjourns the matter for six months. After this mandatory waiting period, both parties must appear before the court again for the second motion, confirming their mutual consent for divorce. Only after the second motion is recorded does the court grant the divorce decree.
Q: Can a government employee do business on their own name ?
Hello All, I am having a doubt related to Government Sector in India. It was told by people to me that law does not allow government employees to have their own business. I am just eager to know that is there any Law for the same.if I am a Government Employee working under the central government then would I able to start my own business..?? Many time people in my contact came across excellent business ideas but they do not proceed due to the certain rumors(I am not sure is it a rumor or law ) that an employee working under government is not allowed by Govt of India to start their own business. One of my friends is still confused with this.he has an excellent idea of a startup but it was told by people that you cannot proceed because the law does not allow us. One has to resign from government sector to startup their business. can government employee do business on their name ?
Advocate SK Shahrukh Raja answered
A government employee is not allowed to run a business. However, they can start a business in the name of their spouse or children and supervise it. Also, there is no provision that prevents a family pensioner from starting her own business.
Q: Tenant not paying maintenance charges and threatening the landlord
of maintenance in Flat.I asked developer many times to look into maintenance but he didnt do.Electric supply was from main meter and paid for new meter to CESC.As in agreement(from Nov '17)5K rent/PM & 10K Advance.Till date only paid 14500.No electricity bill & Maintenance paid by tenant.I stay in another city.In agreement its mentioned that Tenant should pay for Maintenance, however since Maintenance was not done no charges asked from tenant. The agreement uis for 11 months from 30 August & it is notarized. The developer have not started the lift and the tenant is now threatening to go to consumer court and asked for 10K and 20 K for transport of his furniture's etc. what should I do?
Advocate SK Shahrukh Raja answered
Here the clauses of the agreement are the most important parts. If in the agreement contents something which you are unable to provide to the tenant, the tenant has the right to sue you, but there must be an agreement between you and the developer which contains those, which is there in the tenancy agreement, so you have also the right to sue the developer showing same cause of action.
