Can the husband take away the child

04-Aug-2023 (In Child Custody Law)
Sir, I and my husband always have a fight due to my in-laws and he hits me all the time. So third time I called my parents and told them everything since he choked me this time and even offered water after he realised I couldn't breathe and so came to my parents. Now after 15 days I came to know I m pregnant and I called him immediately but he said he said we have parted ways. It's 2 months now and he has not even called me once to ask what the doctor said about the child. I message him everytime I visit doctor but he never responds being a Doctor. Suppose things turn out not well as he is easily influenced by his parents and brother, can he take away my child from me after birth even if he is not caring about the baby and me now?

As per ur case u have to not be afraid of it. As your husband is not taking care of you and ur child. As per law he will have no rights over child after birth. U have to be ready to file a informatory suit in advance in C.J.M COURT.

actually the main thing is that when child is born then till a age limit child is with mother. so till that age limit no need to worry and if he files the case then in general conditions the baby will be with you only.It also depends that you are a divorcee or not.
