I want to put visitation case through my advocate my son is 8 year old wife and my son are living in matrimonial home due to their harassment I m staying in rented home in visitation how many times can I meet my son in a month is it necessary that should I meet in courts childroom only or can I meet anywhere else how many times can i call and video call him in a month can my mother and father also meet the child

Yes. Your advocate can seek a specific visitation/access order based on the child’s welfare. There is no fixed statutory number of visits or calls per month—the Family Court can decide the arrangement, and it need not necessarily be limited to the court’s child-room; you can request regular physical visitation outside court, including taking the child for outings/day visits, depending on circumstances. You can request, for example, 2–4 physical visits per month, regular phone/video calls (e.g., 2–3 times a week), and holidays/birthdays, with gradual expansion if appropriate. You can also specifically ask that your parents (the child’s grandparents) be permitted to meet him, if it is in his welfare. The court’s primary consideration will be the best interests and welfare of the 8-year-old child

Yes. You can file visitation application before family court for your 8 year old son. Depending on the circumstances, the court shall grant you visitation for yourself as well as you mother and your father.
