We will have to give him notice of cheque bouncing and then cheque bouncing case under sec138 of NA act will be filed. We can definitely take a legal action. Your presences for every hearing is not compulsory.

once the cheque bounce you need to send notice through your lawyer. within 3 months time period you need to file 138 in the court. and can get the security for the further payment as well. or ask the person to pay full and final amount and settle the matter.

Get the cheques bounced and file a complaint thru your power of attormey holder, since you say that you stay out of country for most of the time, but make sure that the complaint is properly drafted with regard to the liability and the issuance of post dated cheques in discharge of the said debt.
