If you purchased the property through registered sale deed then it only can be cancelled by the civil court or by the consent of both the party otherwise not. So if other party threating you for cancellation of registry then he will have to filed civil suit against you here you are saying that matter is in the court, there you are not clear that what proceeding is pending before the court if he has file the suit for cancellation the registry then you can pay the entire amount before the court or it may be depend upon what your lawyer has taken the defence before the court I will advise you that whatever is the proceeding pending before the court, you say that you are agree to pay the entire amount due against you it will help you and you will be exonerate from criminal liability as well as civil liability and your registry shall remain safe.

I hope this advice will help you to understand and face the problem.
