What actions can be taken when someone cheque get bounce

Hi, I am trying to get the loaned money back from a friend. It is getting delayed and I have a cheque with his signature which was a surety given for the loan amount. If I submit the cheque and it gets bounce, what actions can I take to get my money back.

if the cheque get bounce then you can give him a registered notice to get your money back if his intentions are bad file the case under section 138 from the date of bounce cheque you can file the case within 30 days period in this notice period is included.

Dear Client,
As per your query a friend of yours has issued you a cheque in lieu of a friendly loan, therefore you should present this cheque before the bank and check whether the amount get credited in your account or the same will get bounced.

If in the event when the cheque get bounced then you would be advised to send the legal notice to your friend asking him for the amount been loaned to him.

If he doesnt reply to the legal notice or in the case when the same has been denied by your friend, then you would be left out with an option to file a complaint before the Court concerned under 138N.I. Act.
