Two Cheques bounce by a person in Pune

Do we receive the entire amount in case of cheque bounce and what is the legal procedure for it ?
hi
in this case you have to send legal notice under negotiable instruments act within one month of the cheque return memo. after that if the person doesn't pay then you may proceed to file complaint for cheque bouncing.
you may be awarded twice the amount of cheque if the case is proved.
