Took home on lease and vacated later owner gave cheque which bounced

Hello, I have went to a home for lease. The owner has not settled the money even after one year of vacate. All his given cheque are bounced. What should I do now. . Now he given to another party for lease and for higher amount he has got advance from third partyI have went to police station he has given bribe to them and they are not even calling him for enquiry to the station what shall I do now. Kindly help me in this situation

Send your landlord a Legal Notice demanding the money through a lawyer like immediately, if he fails to reply for the notice, you shall proceed with filing a complaint with the dishonoured cheque. There is a limitation to send the legal notice and filing of complaint at the court from the date of returning the cheque. So don’t delay.
When the owner's cheque was bounced, first you send legal notice to him to settle the said amount to you. If he not settketed the said amount, you shall be file a criminal case against him. And also you shall be file civil suit for recovery of money against him.
