Q: Disposed as uncontested--decreed with costs meaning

Sir, I filed a complaint on July-2015,my case exparty does not attend any vaitha.so my case is disposed as 'Uncontested-Digreed with cost' on Sep-2016.My advogate is over delaying for the next process, I don't know about what's that reason.. I asking so many time advogate but every time he said many reasons like judge leave, court leave and so many reasons. I lose my hope the lawyer, please sir kindly help me sir...and I want to know about How many days need to a uncontested exparty case????&.....uncontested decreed with costs meaning ?

Exparte decree is given when either of the party hadn't appeared before the court on the hearing day, such orders generally favour the party present. For setting aside the exparte decree you need to file before 30days from the date of knowledge/ date of decree. Kindly act asap, question/ask your lawyer in this regard, get an noc from him and better approach some other lawyer!

My ex-boyfriend is threatening me with pictures he has and harassing me through calls and messages. I ended our relationship because he insisted on sexual relations. First, you must be strong in facing and solving the issue. Next, approach a nearest Police Station and give a complaint on the guy for harassment, your issue involves Cyber cell. If you are located in Chennai, go directly to the commissioner office at egmore with a complaint and screenshot of the messages and call recordings along with a lawyer. Action will be taken.

Hi this is a girl who was cheated by boyfriend. we are in a relationship for more than three years, 1st we both were working in chennai after that he left for Bangalore as he got New job, later we continued to speak in phone and after one year we were in a physical relationship also....Recently he told about the alliance which was seen by his parents, in a frustration I told to go and get marry. The next day he told the marriage is fixed, from then I am crying daily and asking him not to leave me. I made my parents to talk to him, later he told the alliance got cancelled. You go to a nearby women’s police station and register a complaint for cheating and having sexual intercourse with a false promise of marriage. Even then no one can guarantee of marriage but action shall be taken for cheating. Or go in a smooth way, talk to him, remind him of the pleasant memories and try to explain him about the possible hardships after marriage as many marriages have failed after dumping their lovers for no actual reason. If he is still not convinced think if you really want this kinda man in your life as husband and father for your children. Goodluck.

Yes, you can definitely take legal action. He can’t beat you like that and there’s no law supporting him like that. You can file a domestic violence case or dowry case against your husband and in laws as the case may be. Go to a nearest police station and register a complaint. You should file a suit in the court for maintenance from your husband for both you and your child. If you are a Hindu, you are entitled to have a share from his property. If you want divorce, you have to decide accordingly. Take a lawyer’s counselling elaborating your issue. Good luck.
