The final Procedure in the cheque bounce settlement matter

in cheque bouncing case after an year a settlement was made and the money is paid to the party . what would be the fee of lawyer is likely to be and what is the final procedure
So far as lawyer's fee is concerned it depends as to what's your commitment regarding fee to the lawyer if the matter is settled while the case is running, it can b a percentage of the settlement amount and as regards to the final procedure for settlement the complainant will file an application under section 147 of the N.I. Act stating the fact about compromise and the terms on which it is done, i wud suggest to do the compromise in lok adalat so that the court fee u paid initially will be returned.
