Security cheque dishonored what to do

My firm give security blank chaque issue eyar 2013...company present this chaque in year feb-2018.chaque dishounar . Then company file case dishounar chaque. court shaman to me.

You did not share the full details of your case. Before getting Summons from the Court you would have got Legal Notice Issued by the Complainant, in reply to that Legal Notice you would have answered all the facts about the transaction. Thereby, you have missed an opportunity. No issues, now you can attend before the court and explain all the facts, if you have track of the cheques issued by you in your cheque book. Take a xerox copy of that transaction page and present it before the court. If it is of a old cheque, collect some evidenciary proof from your Banker and produce before the court.

Hello sir,
You have to appear before the court on the date mentioned in the summons, otherwise, court will issue non-bailable warrants. So, please appear on that date either with advocate or yourself in person and contest the matter.

As your firm gave a blank cheque to the company towards the firm's liability or even as security and when the liability is assessed and quantified, if the cheque issued is filled up and presented to the bank, the firm cannot avoid the criminal liability arising out of Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Therefore, as you have received the summons from the court, engage a cheque bounce case lawyer and make an appearance on the date of appearance and proceed further with the case.
