Regarding Check bounce case and asking for additional money.


21-Apr-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
One of my friend gave a 40 thousand cheque to his relative and then he gave 40 thousand cash in hand as his relative said he missed the cheque but now his relative has filed a case against him and asking for 50 thousand and 21 thousand lawyer fees. What to do in this case as he is very worried.

Nothing to be worries. Filing a cheque bounce case and proving it are two different things. The cheque is issued only for the legal debt and liability. In case if the holder of the cheque is not able to proved the liability beyond the reasonable doubt, than no offense can be made out.

Firstly, what is the stage of the complaint right now?
secondly, you should contest it by putting your defence in this.
Also, You should file a complaint in the Police Station of cheating.
If your friend has just received summons then he should get a lawyer engaged.

You must hire an advocate for this case first bcoz u your friend has to revert to notice n also attend all court dates. Simultaneously u need to put all evidences before the court …plz n in touch with us asap

your friend have any document in respect of cash transaction like any receipt or any mou or agreement or either any wittness who saw about the cash transaction.

what is the case that has been filed against your friend because as you have mentioned your friend issued a cheque in someone else's favour 40000 rupees so what is the exact case that has been filed against your friend by his relative
