Promised to pay in 3 installment but failed to pay 1st legal action ?

My cheque bounced and in court it has been sent for compromise and I have committed that I will pay in three instalment within 6 month but I fail to pay first instalment due to some problems ..so please suggests what should I do and what will happen

no problem regarding this if you are not able to give money as per settlement in that you can tell the court due to some problem i am not able to pay money tell that if you are doing business that you have loss of so much amount or you are in job that you have so many liability too do in that circumstances court give you time but in can be done for two or three days not more than that so be prepare with your reason to court that why are you not able to make the payment.

Your immediate and urgent move should be to write a letter to the person whom you are liable to pay money and explain your reasons. State that you will shortly pay your dues. Speed post the letter and keep a copy of the same with you along-with post receipts.
