Sir/Madam, you have to send legal notice along with details of dishonoured cheque, bank details within 30 days from the date of memo of dishonoured cheque. In spite of legal notice if they are failed to make payment within the prescribed limitation you have to file a complaint under section 138 of N.I act in court as per the jurisdiction. And for other residuary amount you can also initiate recovery suit against them.

in this case you have to send notice u/s 138 of negotiable instruments act in which you can make demand for your cheque amount.

of other party fails to pay within fifteen days then you can file complaint in the court within one month

Respected sir/Madam,

In cheque bounce case you have to send notice within 30 days from cheque bouncing date.

Other side has 15 days time period for doing payment from the date of receipt of your notice, if he fail to pay within 15 days the you have to file complaint in mm court within 30 days
