Need help with cheque bounce case amount was more then i borrowed

I took 80k from private finance on 5% , gave him 2 blank cheque and some blank papers with my signatures , because of covid i lost my job and was not able to pay his money he requested a payment of 185000 and cheque was bounced and now i have received a notice from him

Sir, please reply the notice and and cheque bounce is serious offence. According, section 138 of NI Act, the dishonour of cheque is a criminal offence and is punishable by imprisonment up to two years or with monetary penalty or with both.

Hi, as it is clear that the amount you borrowed was 80k and interest was 5% , however the question remains silent as to if 5% interest is annually or monthly or otherwise, it is suggested that the amount they are requesting of 1.85 L is hugely inappropriate and therefore you may contest the case.
