Legal action in case cheque bounced but already paid via a/c transfer

I have given a 8000 Rs cheque to my landlord 2 months back. But I paid the amount through bank transfer on the same day. But he he didn't return the cheque. Now when I left his primises he use my cheque and asking for extra money. Now the cheque is dishonored. He is a lawyer. What should I do. I don't want to pay him.

You can file your objection if your landlord files a complaint under section 138 N.I Act against you. Concern with a lawyer in your circle with all relevats documents such as cheque details and account transfer details. You cam also take steps against your landlord for such illegal demand.

If he send you a notice of cheque dishonour send replythat you have paid the amount of cheque through bank transfer ask him not to take any legal action if he still filecase thenyou file case of fraud

Dear sir,you should take back the cheque before money transfer.now you will have to face cheque bounce case for this .& U have to prove the same in court before the court what u are writing.or compromise .
