I have 2 cheques given in the month of December 2018 worth 15Lakhs


20-Mar-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I had given 15 Lakhs to a person by taking 2 cheques with out any interest, for house buying purpose happend Dec 2018. Now he has purchased and sold the house to other person.

yeah already you give 15 lakh right?without any interest.so now what he said? If he denaid you can take action against him. You can get back your entire ammount under Negotiable Instrument Act.more information better contact any legal counsel thank you

Hi... you can present the cheque and bounce it and after bouncing the cheque u issue a legal notice to him and wait for fifteen days and after that you can file case against him under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act.

You get bounce both the cheques immediately and get issue a legal notice and file cheque bounce case. You will get the said amounts within next 6-12 months.
