Husband is jobless and cheque bounce case has been filed

My husband friend has taken a blind cheque for rti return file.now he filed a case of cheque bounce of 09 lakhs due to personal mishappenind.what we can do.my husband is now jobless.I am a working women.we are not able to pay 09 lakh.please suggeste what are the way to resolve the problem.

First of all you must be clear that in cheque bounce cases, the cheque has to be issued for discharge of some legally enforceable debt and liability. In such circumstances, you have to contest the case on merits, as you do not owe any liability to pay him. You should also lodge a criminal complaint in the police station against him.
