How to get my money back if cheque has been bounced

How can getting money from him?my clients cheque always bounce, and he always tell me many reson and not returning my money ?
It is advised that you send a legal notice through lawyer to your client mentioning the facts and give him time to return your money. If he doesn't return your money even after notice period is over, then you can file a case against him under Negotiable Instruments Act.

138 N I Act is strict law. Once the cheque is bounce then you will have to issue legal notice within one month and upon receipt of the same 15 days waiting period thereafter within one month you may file criminal case under the said act.
