Q: What to do if wife has hidden her first marriage

Seeing my profile on matrimonial site and my wife approached me on facebook. She introduced herself as unmarried. About family she mentioned having mother, father, sister and brother. We became friends first, fell in love and later we got married in Feb 2015 without her family's permission. My family supported our marriage and we married as per Hindu ritual in presence on around 200 relative. I registered my marriage. Later, after inquiring about her cesarean mark on stomach I came to know that she was previously married and have son of 5-6 years from her first marriage. She left him because of his ill treatment from him. Her first marriage was not registered anywhere and she did not legally separated from her first husband. Bcoz of her lies i'm suffering from mental pressure which I can't bear anymore hence I want to legally separate from her but she threatening me of trapping under wrong allegations. She had also filed complaint against me of domestic violence and external affair.

What was the reason of cheque bounce? You are advised to send legal notice through local Lawyer and wait for response to legal notice. If no satisfactory response to legal notice then you may file suit in court

Q: Me and wife have address of native place in IDs how to get divorce

I live in pune. Me n wife both have address of our native place on Id proof. Now pune is convenient for both of us for filing mutual divorce. Is it possible ? We have notarized rent agreement of my name.

Are you both residing in Pune? If so you can file mutual consent divorce here in Pune. We can discuss more once I understand your details about where you both have been residing or where you last resided together, etc.For a mutual consent divorce, it takes about 6 months which is minimum time court allows you to rethink your decision and even after 6 months if you both remain firm on your decision to take divorce then court finally orders decree of divorce.

Q: How to get my money back if cheque has been bounced

How can getting money from him?my clients cheque always bounce, and he always tell me many reson and not returning my money ?

It is advised that you send a legal notice through lawyer to your client mentioning the facts and give him time to return your money. If he doesn't return your money even after notice period is over, then you can file a case against him under Negotiable Instruments Act.

Q: Dowry demand from husband and inlaws and now asking for divorce

I got married last year. I am working in a company. My husband and my mother in law use to torture me for money. They use to ask me money for staying in the house. I agreed to give some amount but they were forcing to give full salary. During marriage they took dowry and kept on demanding after marriage also. They use to keep a eye on me. Didn't allow me to talk with anyone or go out. I just stayed there for 6 months. Due to domestic violence I was depressed. My family members tried to convince them but no use. My mother in law removed me from there. Now my staying with my parents. My husband has filed a case for divorce. Kindly suggest me.

As a married woman, you should have sent legal notice to your husband for restitution of conjugal rights when they forced you to go back to your parents place. Now since your husband has filed the divorce case, it would be suggested that you find local Lawyer and explain your case in detail so that you can be provided with appropriate solution.
