Gurantor check bounce however main borrower still reachable

Loan was taken in 2015 for 1.50 lakh and it was for 2 years however gurantor left the country in 2019 for better job and in 2020 he got to know that bank filed the check bounce case against him however the borrower still alive and reachable and still in india.

Unfortunately, guarntorship is a full time liability till the time a person is discharged. Since you mentioned that you are not residing in India. In such circumstances, you have to serve the borrower the legal notice for discharge and the bank. In the pending case, you have to apply for the discharge which can be granted if certain grounds are fulfilled.
