Grounds for delay in filing the cheque bounce case into the court

A cheque bounce case u/s 138 has got delayed by further1month after due notice period.Pl. suggest on what grounds (except medical) can the case be filed & admitted by the court.

Generally courts do not condone the delay in the cases of 138 trial

But if there is a sufficient cause maybe the court will condone


Also u can file a civil suit for recovery or a summary suit too
