Dear Sir,
Now, as per Section 143A of Negotiable Instrument Act. The court may ask you to deposit upto 20% of cheque amount. The said amount is to be deposited directly into the Court. The Complainant may withdraw the same by giving indemnity bond. You will be given 60 days time to deposit such amount. Further, most of the Courts directing to deposit only 10% of the cheque amount.

Are you the complainant or accused?
There is no requirement for you to pay any amount of you are the complainant.
If you are the accused, was there any order from the court that you have to pay? If not, there’s no requirement of you to pay any sum.
