Complainent have bounced my cheque and implicating me in false case

Complainent have bounced my cheque by filling it fully (exept my sign) with an absurd amount which is not the actual amount i have taken from him.. He has send me the intimation on whatsapp regarding my cheque bounce along with cheque photo and bank memo photo..... Also mentioning that the security cheque which i have given to him has bounced as i made a stop payment on that.. And i must pay back him asap... Thats the thing which he send to me.... So is this be considered as a proper legal notice?? Or he shall have to send a proper legal notice before fileing the case... Should i reply to that whatsapp message in legal way or should i wait for a proper legal notice from his side..?? Kindly guide plz...
I have already stated in detail in your previous query as to what is a legal notice and what kind of legal notice will be considered as served and under what circumstances if recieved via whatsapp . For the sake of brevity i wont repeate kindly pursue my previous reply to your query. You should immediately reply to his whatsapp message by denying any kind of liability and state it very clearly that you had given it as security cheque and also refer to the payments you have made to him and point out that he is blackmailing you. Also I would like to repeat that you should make a police complaint for future record and reference purposes.

hello sir, a legal notice is to be sent in a proper way through a letter head of an advocate in very legal manner. therefore the message sent on whatsApp cannot be treated as a legal notice unless and until it bears the name and address of the advocate. the second point that you have mentioned about the stop payment isn't clear to provide you with a clarity and confirmation.

Hi, the legal notice should be sent within 30 days from receipt of bank memo. The legal notice can be sent on WhatsApp.
However, as you said you were not liable to pay him the amount and moreover you have not even drawn the cheque, you should contest the case.
