Clarification regarding settlement in cheque bounce case

You can go for amicable settlement with detail discussion and further course of action by giving remaining cheque for all remaining installments and you will have to give separate affidavit on non judicial stamp paper duly certified by notary and that affidavit should contain unconditional promise to honor all cheque without any excuses and condition.

if you have received the summons from the court about the same u need to attend the court first and u need to understand how much amount cheque return has been claimed. also need to convince the court based on the pending amount as per your proposal it counts ts rs. 1,80,000.00 per year which i don't think the court will agree as they wont have mentioned that you have paid them rs. 6,48,000.00 as per monthly instalment of rs. 18,000.00 for three years.

Hi, you can approached the Court as you have paid more than 70% of the principal amount and on the basis of natural justice settlement purshis shall be filed before the court and request that you are ready to pay the amount but in installments and that may be allowed.
