Cheque bounce of 40 lakhs in Delhi but bounced in Bengaluru. Where to

10-Dec-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
Sir, I gave a loan of RS.40,00,000 to "B" in Delhi. "B" gave false & forged documents at the time of availing loan. I presented the cheque at Bengaluru & got bounced. I filed case u/s 138 NI ACT in Bengaluru. Now, where should I file FIR for fraud, forgery, false documents ---in Delhi or Bengaluru? Both station police not accepting the jurisdiction.

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to file a police complaint followed by an application before the concerned court seeking directions to the police for registering an FIR.

You should file the complaint before the delhi police. As the offence took place in delhi by presenting false documents.
Police can not reject the same and has to commence the investigation.
