Cheque Bounce Notice given in the month of May 2019 but not filed case

I had given notice to the concern person in May but not filed case so can I file case now
Sir limitation is not running in your favour..
however, you can file a case with an application supporting the complaint for condonation of delay to file the complaint..the application needs to be strongly reasoned so as to show the Magistrate the reasons for not filing the complaint within the requisite time period .

Sir/Madam, limitation period for filing a complaint is over, however you can file a complaint with an application of condonation of delay with strong reason. Though you can also file a separate civil suit for the recovery of the amount due, the limitation of which is 3 years from the cause of action.
