Cheque bounce case registered after 108 days.

12-Mar-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
My friend was accused of cheque bounce and a case is registered. Cheque was signed by coercion and other goonda actions. Police complaint was lodged and FIR was filed against the accussed. Now charge sheet is filed. So the accused has filed a false cheque bounce case against my friend after 108 days of cheque being bounced. Is it lawful to file the case after 108 days of cheque being bounced. Hes taking revenge because FIR was filed against him. Pls reply.
