Can I present a cheque to the bank which was already dishonored once

Can you represent a cheque to a bank which has stopped payment stamped on it. Can the bank refuse to take the cheque.

No need to present again , no use at all, already payee has given stop payment notice, how can you present once again, only option is to take legal action against him. File a complaint and cheque bounced case. Consult to file case.

If you can re-present the check to the bank if you have not issued the notice within the specified time limit mentioned under the negotiable instrument act in the event you want to recover the money from the drawer of the check. As the check validity is for three months, within that period you can present the check as many number of times as you wish .

The Bank is obliged to take the cheque, cannot refuse if you represent the cheque within 3 months` time from the date of the cheque. any number of times, but at the same time teh Bank will charge its expenses for all these.

s. You can represent the same chequ once again. But it will return with same reason. But it will help u in future . For limitation purose it will help you. While sending legal notice, you to mention all these . For detail call
