For this the convict happealed in session court which asked him to submit 50% amount. Against this he appealed in high court chandigarh. Hello convict has right of appeal and he is exercising his right as per legal procedures. You must defend in the appellate court that conviction was correctly held by the trial court. If convict losses his case at appellate level he may also go for compounding the offence but he will have to pay the compounding fee.

dear client, Every person has a right to appeal. but there are more chances of you to win the case as you have won the case in the lower court or trial court. you may also have additional evedence in your support if you have something else during hearing of the appeal.
